How to use the Recipe Planner
The weekly planner allows you to plan your meals for the week, giving you a varied choice of recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
To create your weekly planner just follow these easy steps:
To add a recipe to your weekly planner, simply choose the recipe you wish to add and click the 'Add' button on the day you want your meal. As an example: Mexican lime Chicken, Monday, Lunch.
You can also add recipes to your menu planner by choosing the 'Add' button located on the end of each recipe name. This will bring up a small version of your weekly planner to insert your recipe in. If you wish to have the same meal on more than one occasion, just select the relevant spaces on the planner.
Viewing your planner
To choose how you view your planner, select 'See All' to view all meal times (breakfast, lunch and dinner) or select an each individually.
Viewing selected recipes
There are various ways you can view individual recipes - by ingredients, method and a photo view.
Searching for recipes
You can search for recipes by using the filter button located at the top of the application. This allows you to filter for recipes you may wish to add to your planner. You can filter by meal time, dietary requirement, cuisine, servings or rating.
Rating
To rate a recipe, select the 'Rate recipe' button, hover over the stars and select the rating of your choice. The star rating is from 1 - 5; 1 being poor and 5 outstanding.
Saving & Printing
You can also save or print an individual recipe by using the relevant buttons that can be found within the selected recipe window. The entire Weekly Planner can also be printed and saved, using the buttons located under the Weekly Planner.
The print option within the planner allows you to print different parts of your planner: a shopping list, the planner table, or both of these with all of the recipes you have selected.
Emailing
You can email your Weekly Planner to a friend or invite them to create their own. To do this, fill out the form on the Weekly Planner, select the email button, and enter your friends' email address.
Submitting your own recipes
Think your own recipes are good enough to feature in the Planner? Select 'Add Your Own Recipe' and fill in the form to submit your recipe.
Latest recipes
A selection of the latest recipes is displayed at the bottom right-hand side of the page. View any of them by selecting the 'View' button.
